Entrepreneurship buys Fortum Waste Solutions OW A/S: “We want to be among the leading actors on waste management”.

The 3rd of May Rinaldo Holding ApS takes over 100% of the stocks in Fortum Waste Solutions OW A/S, and will continue the operation under the name Nordic Oily Waste A/S. With the acquisition of the facilities in Aarhus and Esbjerg, Nordic Oily Waste positions itself as one of the leading actors in treating industrial wastewater and oily waste in Denmark. Rinaldo Holding ApS also owns Marine partner A/S, who specializes in logistics- and downstream solutions for waste streams for the maritime industry.

Since its foundation in 2018 the Rinaldo Holding Group has been in rapid development. With specializing in recycling, upcycling and environmentally responsible management solutions for hazardous waste, the group now withholds logistic-, downstream- and treatment options and facilities for maritime and land-based industries.

The Rinaldo Holding group have been cooperating closely with Fortum and moving forward this cooperation will continue to be essential in creating the best solutions for both the environment and the clients.

Nordic Oily Waste already runs a wastewater facility at the Port of Grenaa and increase their capacity significantly with the facilities in both Aarhus and Esbjerg. Theis Rinaldo Andersen has a vision for the three treatment facilities: “We take responsibility for the environment and always work towards creating circular solutions, where we recycle as much as possible. With bringing onboard the employees and facilities from Fortum Waste Solutions OW A/S, we have even better conditions to help our clients in managing waste while using the fractions as resources.”
