The General Assembly of EUROSHORE INTERNATIONAL elected today, Alvaro San Pedro, Recycled Fuel Director of TRADEBE, Spain, Chairman of the Board of Directors. Alvaro already acted as Vice-Chairman since October 2018. Effective immediately, Alvaro succeeds Carlos Cardoso, CEO of Greenflow, Portugal, who had kindly extended his 2-year mandate due to the pandemic.
“I thank Carlos for his energy and strong commitment during the last 3 years, in particular with this difficult period for many of our members, in particular those dedicated to the cruise industry. Recovery challenges couple with environmental challenges and EUROSHORE will continue to develop its dialogue with public authorities, ports and shipping companies to help them meet their requirements. It is a common challenge, and we need to act together.
The task given to me to provide orientations for our association is important and I am happy to welcome Marga Hauttekeete, General Manager of MTD, Belgium, as new Vice-Chairman to support me. Marga has lots of experience in our business and our North and South locations will help covering all European sensibilities, waiting to welcome as soon as possible board members from the other regions of the world. I am convinced we’ll make a good team”
Alvaro San Pedro and TRADEBE have strong experience in Environmental Services in Europe and in the US. Marga Hauttekeete and MTD have strong experience in one of the major European ports, Antwerp. Together they will bring a considerable added value to the group.
