On 1st January 2021 JONGEN (Germany) joined Euroshore International, which gather now 36 Member companies in 17 countries on 3 continents. We are delighted to welcome them within the Euroshore family in these challenging times.
Jongen is located in the Port of Hamburg and provides services for Marpol sludge- and garbage disposals, ship cleaning as well as oil spill response and emergency management. As a certified disposal company, they have been collecting sludge / bilge water and garbage (MARPOL) from seagoing vessels since July 2015.
In order to be able to deliver a safe environmental service, Jongen has two high-grade double-hull tank ships. With these ships it is the only disposal company in Hamburg, which is using double hulled ships exclusively for sludge and slop disposals.
Additionally, Jongen has several trucks and containers of various sizes to cope with the garbage collection from land. Since September 2016, Jongen is the official partner for the environmental authority carrying out the oil spill response and emergency management in the Port of Hamburg.
Further tasks include the cleaning of tanks, holds and engine rooms of seagoing and inland water vessels. The protection of the environment, customer satisfaction and economic feasibility are always the prior goals there.
