On October 29th, VSS EPE and EXXON MOBIL successfully conducted Oil Spill Response training and drill, at the area of Zygi, in Cyprus. The event took place in the context of the project that VSS EPE, a company of Polyecogroup based in Cyprus and VTS Tug Services, have undertaken upon an agreement with EXXON MOBIL. The companies will provide their services during EXXON MOBIL’s operations in Cyprus.
The project includes the provision of marine oil spill response equipment, standby provision of vessels and tug boats, equipment maintenance and Oil Spill Response services in the event of an incident. The equipment provided, consists of offshore and nearshore TIER 1 packages. All packages contain high quality equipment that is produced by top manufacturers.

Representatives of EXXON MOBIL and the Environmental Division of Cypriot Government attended the event, where equipment and vessels of VSS EPE and EXXON MOBIL were presented. During the event, VSS EPE’s vessels deployed antipollution equipment and a presentation on Health and safety issues occurred.
EXXON MOBIL’s Representatives expressed their satisfaction for the event and appreciation towards VSS EPE’s personnel and crew.
